JAf on Wednesday evacuated the sixteenth group of sick children from the Gaza Strip, consisting of nine patients and sixteen companions, as part of the “Jordanian Medical Corridor” initiative, launched under Royal directives to support the Palestinian people and alleviate their humanitarian suffering resulting from the ongoing aggression on the Strip.The evacuated children will receive medical treatment in Jordanian hospitals, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the WHO, as part of the ongoing medical and humanitarian efforts undertaken by JAF to provide healthcare and medical support to people in Gaza.With this evacuation, the total number of individuals evacuated since the launch of the initiative last March has risen to 1,446 people from the Gaza Strip, including 387 patients and 1,059 companions, transported by land and air through several missions to receive necessary treatment and medical care in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and a number of friendly countries. This step reflects the spirit of cooperation and humanitarian solidarity embodied in the Royal initiative to support the Palestinian people.
