The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, met on Thursday in his office at the General Headquarters with the President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Professor Wijdan Abu Elhaija, accompanied by the Dean of Student Affairs and a number of university students.

During the meeting, which was attended by several senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, both sides discussed frameworks for joint cooperation and coordination between the Jordan Armed Forces and Princess Sumaya University for Technology, particularly in the fields of technical and technological training and scientific research, in a way that supports and enhances modernization and development paths within the Armed Forces.

Major General Al-Hunaiti emphasized the Armed Forces’ commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships with academic institutions and institutes, contributing to building high-quality national capabilities based on knowledge and technology.

Professor Abu Elhaija expressed her appreciation for the national role carried out by the Jordan Armed Forces at all levels, affirming the university’s keenness to provide all forms of joint cooperation with the Armed Forces across various fields.
