He was received by the commander of the region, Brigadier General Tawfiq Hamdallah Al-Marzouq, and several senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces - the Arab Army.Major General Al-Hnaity listened to a military briefing given by the region's commander, on the progress of programs, operational, training, and logistical issues, tasks, and duties assigned to them, and plans that the region will implement.Al-Hnaity directed the implementation of several administrative projects that serve the formations and units of the region and the nature of its work, to ensure that it performs its duties effectively, and to develop a plan to modernize the mechanisms and equipment used in them, such as the Land Cruiser and the newly introduced "Leclerc" tank.Major General Al-Hnaity met with a number of the region's staff and conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces - the Arab Army, and expressed his pride in the outstanding level, efficiency, and professionalism in carrying out the duties entrusted to the region and the high morale they enjoy, stressing the need to exert utmost efforts to protect the homeland and its capabilities and stand united in the face of anyone who begs himself to prejudice its security and stability.
