Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti, on Monday received a delegation from ASELSAN Middle East, a company specialized in electronic military industries, at the General Command headquarters.During the meeting, attended by a number of senior Jordan Armed Forces officers and the Director General of the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB), Major General Al-Huneiti discussed with the delegation ways to enhance cooperation in the field of defense industries, particularly in military equipment and electro-optics, in a manner that opens new avenues for future collaboration in areas of mutual interest.ASELSAN Middle East was inaugurated by His Majesty King Abdullah II in 2014 at the JODDB, with the aim of designing, developing, testing, and manufacturing military equipment for night, thermal, and day surveillance, in addition to electronic systems and solutions.
