The Jordanian Field Hospital Gaza/83 continues to carry out its humanitarian and medical duties by supporting and reinforcing the operations of the Jordanian Field Hospital South Gaza/7, located in the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, following its relocation from its previous position in Tel Al-Hawa in the northern part of the Strip.This move comes as part of the ongoing efforts exerted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to support the Palestinian people and stand by them amid the dire humanitarian conditions prevailing in the Gaza Strip.The commander of the Northern Gaza Field Hospital emphasized that the hospital’s medical and nursing teams have integrated with those of the Southern Gaza hospital and are operating around the clock to provide comprehensive healthcare services. These include receiving and treating the wounded, injured, and sick, conducting surgical operations, and delivering essential medications and treatments—aimed at enhancing the overall level of medical services and alleviating the suffering of civilians in light of the growing and continuous medical needs.For their part, the residents of Khan Younis expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation for the Kingdom of Jordan’s significant humanitarian role, praising the high competence of the Jordanian medical teams and their dedicated efforts to supply advanced medical equipment and essential supplies, which contribute to the improvement of healthcare services across the Strip.It is worth noting that during its deployment in Tal Al-Hawa, Hospital Gaza/83 treated more than 34,000 medical cases and conducted over 220 major and minor surgical procedures since the beginning of its mission on August 12 until its redeployment to Khan Younis on September 22.
