The Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army Hajj Delegation No. 51 departed on Sunday for the Holy Sites to perform this year’s Hajj ritual as part of an annual program that reflects the Armed Forces’ continued commitment to providing comprehensive care for serving and retired personnel, wounded servicemen, and the families of martyrs.

The Head of the Delegation stated that all administrative and organizational arrangements had been completed in coordination with the relevant authorities to ensure a smooth and efficient journey from departure to arrival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He noted that the delegation is operating in accordance with a comprehensive plan that addresses all administrative, health, and guidance requirements to provide pilgrims with a safe and stable environment.

He added that the Jordan Armed Forces have mobilized their human, logistical, and medical resources to serve the pilgrims through an integrated support system that reflects the institution’s professionalism and humanitarian approach. He emphasized that the military Hajj delegation represents one of the enduring forms of care that the General Headquarters is keen to provide to the personnel of the Arab Army in recognition of their service and sacrifices in defense of the homeland.

For his part, the Mufti of the Jordan Armed Forces said that the Armed Forces have consistently organized annual Hajj and Umrah delegations to strengthen the religious and spiritual values of their personnel. He described the pilgrimage as a valuable opportunity to renew faith and reflect on the meanings of sacrifice and devotion that are closely aligned with the military profession and national belonging.

He added that the organization of the annual military Hajj delegation embodies the longstanding Hashemite approach to caring for members of the Jordan Armed Forces and translates the continuous attention and support extended by His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to comrades-in-arms and their families.
