On Thursday, May 9th, 2024, the Jordanian Armed Forces conducted 7 humanitarian and food airdrops to various locations in Northern Gaza due to the ongoing war on the besieged strip. The joint effort involved one aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Airforce, along with one Egyptian, three USA, one Britain, and one Germany. JAF reiterated its commitment to carry out airlift operations, whether through the Marka Airport to Egypt's El Arish International Airport or via airdrops on Gaza or terrestrial aid convoys, to help the people in the Gaza Strip overcome difficult situations, and to embody the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between the two fraternal peoples. Since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, JAF has carried out 93 airdrops missions, in addition to 242 airdrops carried out in cooperation with other countries.
