On Saturday, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Hunaity, received a U.S. military delegation from the U.S. Central Command.

The two sides discussed bolstering cooperation and coordination in various military, operational, training and logistical fields, in service of the interests of the armed forces of the two countries.

For its part, the delegation stressed Jordan's pivotal role and its endeavor to establish security and stability in the region.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.
