The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, received Ms. West Ray, Director of Cooperation in the U.S. Export Control and Border Security Program (EXBS), today, Tuesday, at his office at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army.

Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti discussed with the guest various aspects of cooperation and joint coordination, focusing on enhancing military and security collaboration between the two countries. The talks also addressed developing partnerships in counter-terrorism efforts, bolstering border security, and exchanging views on the latest regional and international developments in ways that serve the interests of the armed forces in both friendly countries.

Al-Hunaiti emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership that binds the two friendly countries. He underscored the necessity of uniting international efforts to achieve global security and peace.

The delegation expressed deep appreciation for the pivotal role played by the Kingdom, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in fostering security and stability in the region. They commended His Majesty's directives and vision in strengthening regional security and highlighted the importance of ongoing cooperation between the two countries to address security challenges.

Several senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army attended the meeting.
