Picture News

As part of Jordan's ongoing efforts to deliver aid to the Gaza Strip, 14 helicopters departed from King Abdullah II Air Base on Tuesday, transporting critical supplies as part of the air bridge.

The aircraft carried 15 tons of humanitarian and relief supplies, in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization and several partner countries, bringing total aid to about 100 tons that were ferried to the Kosovim site in Gaza's Al Qarara area and delivered to those in need in the Strip.

The humanitarian bridge operated by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan aims to accelerate the transfer of urgent supplies, especially medicines and medical equipment, to the sector.

The total number of helicopters involved in the air bridge, carried out by the Jordanian Armed Forces, reached 86 aircraft, including 9 Italian helicopters. Additionally, there were 125 Jordanian air drops and 266 air drops from fraternal forces. Furthermore, 53 aircraft landed at El-Arish Airport in Egypt, and following the ceasefire, approximately 1,067 trucks arrived to the sector.
