On Sunday evening, the Jordan Armed Forces, represented by the Royal Medical Services, received a 40-ton shipment of medical supplies, equipment, and consumables from Pakistan’s Khidmat Foundation. The aid is designated for deployment to Jordanian military field hospitals operating in the Gaza Strip. The handover ceremony was attended by Brig. Gen. Dr. Ahmad Al-Subaihat, Commander of Field Medicine, and Mr. Daniel Anwar, Consul at the Embassy of Pakistan in Amman. The donation aims to support RMS's ongoing humanitarian and medical operations in Gaza, amidst severe shortages in essential medical items. Brig. Gen. Dr. Al-Subaihat emphasized the importance of this aid, stating: “This reflects the strong partnership between Jordan and Pakistan. These supplies will help alleviate the suffering of patients in Gaza. RMS remains committed to its humanitarian mission.” Dr. Waddah Al-Kilani, Regional Director of Khidmat Foundation, added: “We are honored to support Jordan’s tireless efforts in Gaza. This assistance is more than material—it’s a message of hope and solidarity.”
