Wednesday – Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, met today at the General Command Headquarters a UAE military delegation headed by Major General Salim Juma Al Ka’abi.

The meeting discussed avenues to enhance military and security cooperation between the two brotherly nations, including the exchange of expertise in training and defense fields to promote regional security and stability. The officials also reviewed matters of mutual interest, particularly concerning current security challenges.

Maj. Gen. Al-Hunaiti emphasized the profound relations between both countries, reflecting the shared vision of their leadership. He praised the distinguished military cooperation between both armies in achieving integration and operational readiness to address common challenges.

For his part, Maj. Gen. Al Kaabi commended the Jordan Armed Forces' significant efforts in maintaining regional security and stability, stressing the importance of further strengthening strategic partnership between both militaries across all domains.

The meeting was attended by several senior Jordan Armed Forces officers and the UAE military attaché.
