Today, Wednesday, the "Desert Tempest" tactical exercise concluded. The exercise was carried out by the 3rd Royal Guard Mechanized Battalion, one of the units of the 60th Prince El Hassan bin Talal Armored Brigade, under the Central Military zone, with the American side.Attendees received a comprehensive briefing from exercise supervisors detailing the exercise proceedings, objectives, implementation mechanisms, training plan execution, in addition to the assumptions on which it is built that simulate the expected operating environment.The exercise featured live-fire drills with tanks, armored personnel carriers, various light and medium weapons, mortars, and sniper operations with artillery support from the Royal Artillery Corps and Royal Engineers. It also included urban warfare operations, medical evacuations, and live resupply operations for fuel and ammunition.Participants demonstrated exceptional skill in executing all phases of the exercise, with marked precision in target engagement and outstanding physical readiness.The exercise was attended by U.S. Army Brigadier General Kashy Eiken and several officers from the Central Military zone.
