JAF carried out a medical evacuation operation today, Wednesday, involving 16 children from the Gaza Strip, including 10 cancer patients, for treatment in Jordanian hospitals. They were accompanied by 48 family members, as part of a new batch under the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative.Twelve children were transported by land, while four were airlifted. At a later stage, one child will be transferred to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and another to the United Arab Emirates for treatment, reflecting the positive response of the two brotherly nations to the initiative.The patients and their companions were received in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization. The medical evacuation was conducted under the highest standards of medical care.Since the launch of the initiative, a total of 57 sick children have been evacuated to Jordan, along with 113 accompanying family members, transported by both land and air for treatment.It is worth noting that the medical evacuation efforts, led by Jordan in support of the people in the Gaza Strip, began at the start of March, under Royal directives.
