The MCF and MEPS on Wednesday signed an agreement to issue prepaid bank cards for the Fund, which will be provided to national service conscripts.

The agreement, signed by the Director General of the MCF, Yazid Al-Khalidi, and MEPS Chief Executive Officer Ali Abdul Jabbar, aims to issue prepaid bank cards that will be supplied to conscripts to enable salary transfers and facilitate their financial transactions throughout their service period.

The Director General of the MCF stated that the Fund values this partnership with the MEPS, which will ease the process for national service conscripts to receive their salaries, while also enhancing the level of service provided to current Fund beneficiaries by offering prepaid cards that meet their various financial needs. He commended the role of the Financial Directorate at the General Command of JAF for its confidence in the Fund in assuming the task of delivering financial services to conscripts, emphasizing the Fund’s commitment to ongoing modernization and development through the establishment of such strategic partnerships to implement the latest banking technologies for active and retired military personnel.

For his part, the company’s CEO affirmed that this step reinforces MEPS’s vision to expand financial inclusion and create a sustainable economic impact that supports the national economy. He added that it contributes to enhancing financial stability for citizens by providing a smooth and swift financial experience with the highest levels of security and trust in payment operations, along with innovative financial solutions that keep pace with modern needs.
