Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti Sunday welcomed at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army (JAF), an Omani military team led by Rear Admiral Ali Al Shidi, Commandant of the National Defense College.

During a meeting, attended by the Omani Ambassador, they went over prospects of enhancing cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, especially training and exchanging military expertise, as well as regional developments.

The Omani delegation commended JAF's humanitarian role and modernization and development efforts to address regional challenges.
