This evening, Wednesday, JAf conducted an urgent medical evacuation of Sergeant Nurse Samir Hassan Maflah Al-Amarat, who was wounded by shrapnel while performing his humanitarian duty as part of the Jordanian medical team operating at the Jordanian field hospital south of the Gaza Strip.The casualty was transported by land to Al-Hussein Medical City to receive necessary treatment under the supervision of a specialized medical team.Brigadier General Surgeon Dr. Sahm Al-Qasous, General Surgery Advisor, stated: "The casualty has been evacuated and his health condition will be assessed after undergoing various laboratory and radiological examinations, followed by admission to the appropriate department for continuous medical monitoring."Al-Qasous added that the casualty’s overall condition is moderate, emphasizing that the transfer operation aims to provide the necessary medical care under the supervision of specialized medical personnel.It is noteworthy that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan reinforced the Gaza Strip with a second field hospital and specialized medical teams since the beginning of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, under Royal directives. These teams continue their work despite the challenging conditions to provide medical care for the injured and wounded Palestinians.
