JAF, represented by the Directorate of Military Media / Military Documentation Center, and the University of Jordan, represented by the Center for Documents, Manuscripts, and Levantine Studies, signed today, Tuesday, a MoU aimed at strengthening joint cooperation in the fields of archiving, documentation, manuscript preservation, and scientific research.The MoU was signed on behalf of the Directorate of Military Media by its Director, Brigadier General Mustafa Al-Hayari, and on behalf of the University by the Director of the Center for Documents and Manuscripts, Dr. Nada Al-Rawabdeh.The memorandum stipulates establishing joint cooperation in archiving, preserving, and restoring documents and manuscripts; exchanging publications, books, and manuscripts; organizing joint activities and exhibitions; and conducting specialized training courses in paper and electronic archiving, information preservation, management, documentation in libraries and information science, and restoration science. These efforts aim to enrich national knowledge in this field.It is worth noting that this memorandum comes within the framework of the keenness to serve documentation and archiving work, protect national heritage, exchange expertise to support scientific research in the management of documents and national heritage preservation, and encourage scientific research.
