Picture News

The Radiology Department at King Hussein Medical City introduced, on Monday, an advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner supported by artificial intelligence technologies.

The Director General of the Royal Medical Services stated that the introduction of advanced medical technologies supported by artificial intelligence embodies the vision of continuous modernization and development of the medical system, contributing to enhancing the quality of diagnostic and therapeutic services provided to patients. He emphasized that these technologies improve the efficiency of medical staff and speed up examination procedures, in line with the latest international medical standards.

The Head of the Radiology Department explained that the advanced scanner processes and analyzes raw data to reduce noise and highlight fine details during image reconstruction, enabling the production of high-resolution images with a significant reduction in examination time, without compromising diagnostic accuracy or confidence. He noted that the device supports advanced clinical applications in brain and cardiac imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, body imaging, and prostate imaging, stressing that fine details are a key element in accurate diagnosis.

It is worth noting that the device operates with a new-generation 3T MRI system, designed to deliver high diagnostic quality, improve operational efficiency, and focus on patient comfort and workflow within the Radiology Department.
