Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Al-Huneiti met with Cypriot Minister of Defense Michalis Giorgallas. Talks during the meeting covered the future of military cooperation between the two “friendly” armed force and the latest regional and international developments.

Al-Huneiti affirmed that the Jordanian-Cypriot defense cooperation is ongoing in all military areas, leveraging their mutual experiences and resources.

The Cypriot minister of defense praised the close military cooperation between the two nations and commended Jordan's anti-terrorism and anti-extremism efforts, as well as its commitment to maintaining regional security and stability.
